I am a passionate problem solver currently leading a team of talented designers at Duo Security at Cisco delivering key security solutions for enterprise customers (Duo AI Assistant, Risk-based Authentication, Trust Monitor). I use my hybrid background in user research, interaction, and product design to advocate for elevated user experiences. Before Duo, I designed for data and insights experiences at Spredfast (now Khoros).

Fully empowered design teams are invited earlier and earlier in the product lifecycle. Being a key partner requires a steady focus on customer needs, anticipating end users’ pain points to drive a clear design strategy in sync with Product.
Team development & mentorship
Growing the skills in my team, helping them leverage their innate strengths is one of my greatest joys. I’ve guided talent at various stages of career: from intern to Lead. I work closely with my team to coach them into defining the career path that most energizes them.
Cross-team alignment in large organizations
Advocating for the user’s end to end experience requires making connections with many disparate teams. Building those connections, understanding the micro cultures within those teams is fundamental to getting the right work done at the right time.
