Supper Club Concept • 2026

What happens when a group of former theater kids start a tradition to have dinner together once a week?

SupperClub started as a promise between two friends and neighbors: to always have dinner together once week. It has since grown to included several families in my close group of friends. We take turns hosting and preparing meal. Our time together is lighthearted, balancing formal planning and casual conversation. We dress up according to themes and use this special time to connect with each other and our inner creative.

With the introduction of Claude Code, I was excited to explore it’s prototyping and motion capabilities. I first created two screens in Figma to establish a baseline of visual design and then jumped to Claude to build out the rest of the experience.

Working through this concept allowed me to get my hands dirty, jump fluidly between Claude and Figma, and Xcode, pivoting and adjusting. I was able to uncover interaction issues quicker using these rapid prototyping tools. Using Claude for transitions has a learning curve, and I would like to see how I can use prompting to create even more sophisticated interactions in the future.

This is a personal passion project, one informed by the idiosyncrasies of my friends. In the future, if I were to expand this work beyond a concept, I would more deeply think about how to make this app more appealing to different types of users. Could SupperClub help people in new places find community?
